Ahhh...

So five days worth of stuff...

Wednesday (9/9/09) didn't do much of anything. Did call Wells Fargo to see why I am still paying the same amount when my interest rate has been lowered 1% for well over a year. They told me it might have made it so I would pay a lower monthly payment (makes sense) and it is the lower interest rate just I am paying the same so I might just pay it off earlier. It really didn't make sense because they were anticipating I would pay it off at the same time as when I had the 1% higher interest rate.

Thursday I went and played hockey at Sunblades for the Skate N' Shoot. Mostly worked on shooting and ended up with two blisters, one on my left thumb and pointer finger from where my glove rubbed against those spots. When I came home from hockey my MP3 player had arrived, so tried adding a few songs to it. It is kind of weird how I have to add songs to my play list; add them to the player, than have to individually add each song to the play list. Around 3 p.m. went to the Recruiting station and did my APFT. I did alright on it, I was happy with my push up and sit up score but was a little disappointed on my run. On the run I got a 79 out of 100, which at Basic and AIT would pass but I personally would like it to be at least a 85 out of 100 by the end of Basic.

Friday (9/11/09) went to work, not much really happened because we have Disney on Ice currently at the Ice Palace. After work I went over to Nicki's and hung out with her. She, GiGi and I ended up going to International Plaza for about an hour and a half around 7 p.m.. I had wanted to go to the mall to get a Cinnabon. Than we headed to Pinchasers at 9 p.m.. Was a few of us there, met a really nice guy at the food thing in the bowling alley, his name was Tony. Tony made a comment about Twilight and I thought he was being a smartass so I asked if he was. Here is a little back ground info, Tony is about in his early 50's and is hard core Italian. He said no that he likes Twilight so I asked him how many books there are and he told me 4 and than named them. I was shocked because I didn't think he would be into Twilight, but we started talking about it while GiGi and I waited for our pizza to be ready. I ended up dropping my socks and they ended up getting thrown away so I didn't bowl. Just watched and talked with people, mostly talked with Gigi till she left because she wasn't play either, than talked with Angelina and Eva when they arrived. Headed home around 11:15 p.m. due to having work in the morning.

Saturday at work it was kind of weird, we didn't really have anything to do because it was still Disney on Ice. We had a little to hold us over till about 10 a.m. but after that we really didn't do anything else. One of my co-workers Matt went off on me because he made a really weird comment of something to the effect of "have you seen Steve in his new shirt, he looks good in it." So I asked him if he really made that comment and if he knows how that makes him sound, than I gave three other examples such as the fact that he watches and likes True Blood. He came back five minutes later and was you are such a *itch, you just rag on me and go on and on. You don't think about what you say. I didn't give any more examples after that and I told him I didn't call him the one name I know he hates (Sunshine). Another co-worker Radio couldn't remember the example he was going to give so called someone else to find out what it was, he than told us what Matt had said that sounded a little fruity. So I get chewed out for giving three examples, than after getting chewed out Radio calls up someone to give an example and Matt doesn't say jack to this guy. Funny how things work. Whatever, there are so many double standards that it is just ridiculous. Left work at 3:15 p.m. because we got sent home early since we were dead.
Came home cleaned my room a bit before falling asleep and taking a two hour nap. I didn't end up going to the gym because I was really tired.

Sunday (9/13/09) was an interesting day. I went to T3 for church and on my way to church my van was over heating. My gauge that lets me know how hot my engine is went from its normal around half to the very top. I stopped to see if I could tell what was wrong but couldn't so kept driving, except for I couldn't go over 55 without it shooting up back to the top. So I was driving about 50 on the Interstate. Church was good, besides maybe the fact that in Sunday school they were talking about chasity and it was a bit inappropriate for 18-30 year olds. I ended up staying from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm due to my van being messed up and wanting to stay for the CES Fireside. Tiffaney ended up helping me by driving me to Walmart so that I could buy some Radiant Coolant for my radiator. I than talked to a couple people who were there until the Fireside started. During the Fireside I sat next to Eva, and guess what the Fireside was about? Oh Virtue and Chasity. So maybe there was something I needed to get out of the talks, maybe I need to remember about virtue and chasity especially now. It was interesting though getting to talk some people I usually wouldn't get a chance to talk to.

So yeah that was Wednesday to Sunday... I'm becoming a slacker with this "journal writing."

09 September 2009

Just a bunch of little different things...

Today was just laid back in a sense.

Woke up at 6 a.m. and went walking with my mom at 6:30 a.m.. I am trying to get use to going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier. Also have been walking with a back pack with weights in
it. This week I have put 25 lbs. in it.

After walking with my mom watched the movie Penelope. It was kind of cute. Liked the ending where she was able to break the curse herself just by liking herself for who she is.

Than helped my mom with the shed in our back yard. She said she wasn't strong enough to pull up the wood so I went out and did it for her. Only thing that sucked is while pulling up the last piece 3 mice/ rats (we dont' know what they were, think they were rats though because of the long tails) ran out and we both jumped and ran away.

After the shed headed to the gym and worked mainly on push ups and sit ups. The program I am trying to do to increase the number I can do is actually quite hard. You do two minutes of traditional push ups/ sit ups and than immediately do an alternative. Than rest 4 minutes than do another set. For push ups you do three sets and for sit ups you do two. It really worked my muscles.

At night went to Institute, and really liked 1 Neph1 11:18-21 because it just reminded me that God is the same today as he was in the past and that he has a plan for everything. At the end I like it because if you have sought to do wickedly, which made me think sometimes we do "bad" things but don't set out to do. It is more what are intentions are.

So yeah, there ya go. Laters for now.

Happenings of last 5 Days

Hey did a little better this time, only have to write about 5 days worth of happenings.

Thursday was kind of interesting, work didn't really go fast or slow. It was sort of a bummer because our manager, Mike, it was his last conversion. Mike is a great manager, he tells it like it is and listens when you have problems. (I was suppose to be written up once for going off on a Supervisor, but after Mike heard the reason why I went off on the supervisor he told me he just threw the write up in the trash.) Debra decided to get a cake for him, so at our 2 p.m. break we all headed to the XO Club and they called Mike in. It was hilarious because Mellow had the cake and kept walking around this pillar, and Mike went around too. Mike got scared and jumped back when Mellow jumped out and yelled boo. Even better is that Amber got it on tape. Went home at 3:30 p.m. because we had nothing left to do. Oh I was proud of myself because I didn't have any of the cake at work but then went and ruined it by having a piece of cake, a cookie and some ice cream at home. I have issues when it comes to sweets.

At night went to a drum circle at Gasoline Alley which is a bar. It was ok, not as enjoyable as the drum circle on the beach. The one on the beach is kind of out in the nature, plus there is more room for people because it is not confined in doors. It was good fun though watching people. It ended up being Phil, Dennis, Karen and I. Left a little early to head to Walmart to pick up some oil and coolant for my van.

On Friday (9/4/2009) drove over to Amber's and picked her up and we headed to Brandon. Yeah we got there after it had ended but we did get to see Prospal!! He was already to his car but it was good at least seeing him and getting to wave hi at him. Prospal is a pimp. He would actually say hi to people when he sees them walking around in the "backstage" area (aka our work area). And not to mention his crazy @$$ excited celebrations when he would score a goal, its like he just won the lottery. We then headed to the mall. At Books a Million Amber spotted the Michael Jackson magazine I had been looking for. (It is a commemorative edition with just pictures of him and quotes.) Also bought The Abs Diet for Women, yeah had been looking to buy that book for about 6 months. After the mall we went to Green Berry which is a yogurt place where you pick what flavor yogurt you want and then put the toppings you want also. Let me tell you, that was some yummy yogurt, probably will end up going there again before shipping out.

We then headed back to Amber's where we met up with Katie. Katie than drove us to Amber's bank, and than we ate at Tia's. I over ate like usual. After Tia's we headed to Borders, I didn't allow myself to really look at the books because I would have wanted to buy more books. Headed back to Amber's, watched some YouTube video's than Katie left. Amber and I than watched the movie Fanboys. The movie sounded kind of dorkie (I'm not a Star Wars fan) but it was truly a good movie, really liked the jokes/ personality of the heavy set friend. Also liked that in the end the two friends that hadn't talked in 3 years ended up getting back along.

After the movie headed to the church dance. Ended up getting there around 9:40 p.m. which was way too early, usually get there around 10:30 p.m.. So I went into the Relief Society room and read the MJ magazine I had got earlier in the day. The dance was a bit weird, I ended up making 3 guys feel bad. First one happened when I was sitting next to Jackie and Sabra and they both got asked to dance so I was sitting by myself. A guy came up and asked if I wanted to dance, I said no thanks you can ask someone else. Well he asked another lady and she said no the song is half over, and I thought man this guy just had two ladies say no for the same song. So I walked up and said lets go. While dancing with him realize he is a bit slow, which made me just feel even worse. Next slow song to come along Brandon asked me and I really didn't want to (I don't like dancing, I'm not good at it), but got dragged out there. Well he didn't do a normal slow dance, he did more like ball room dancing, spinning and trying to dip me. Half way thru the song I just walked away. So that was number 2. Number three happened when a guy asked me to dance and I did it. Well he wasn't asking any questions so it was an awkward silence, so I stated that, ended up having to ask him questions. Also stated to him that I don't dance and don't like to dance. Later on in the dance he came up to me and said I saw you dancing, which I was dancing to the Cupid Shuffle, which doesn't count because they tell you the steps to do.
Oh there was also DRAMA at the dance. Nikki and Gigi brought their friend to the dance, he about two years ago had been asked not to go to the Singles Ward. Someone approached the person in charged and told them this and the guy came up and asked their friend to leave because he is 34 and Singles Ward is for 18-30. Nikki and Gigi weren't too happy about this because there were two other people over 30. It was not right for them to say it was because of age, the man did mention had been asked not to come back. I would have agreed with them if they said that, but saying it is because of age wasn't right.
Started to say bye to people, when I went into a doorway to say bye to Eva and Katrina. When I turned to leave I got scared crapless. A guy was right behind me and yelled boo. Told him it wasn't right because I don't even know him, he than introduced himself. Drove home because had to go to work in about 6 hours.

Saturday (9/5/2009) at work it was so slow that we did chair set at 9 a.m. and ended up going home at Noon. Headed to Amber's and hung out for about an hour. Left so she could finish getting ready for Vancouver. Came home and did Lesson 29, which was for Alma 36-39. This part was helpful because it was talking about following our parents advice, which hit home. I should listen to my mother more and follow the advice she gives because she has already experienced things in life that I haven't. Then watched Adventure Land, which was also a good movie. Liked this movie because some times we make mistakes and F up, but the guy didn't let that stop him from going after what he loved.

Yesterday (Sunday, 9/6/2009) went to both the St. Pete Family Ward and the Tampa 3rd Young Single Adult Ward so it was kind of long (from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., plus Break the Fast). At the Family Ward saw Ashley and Ray walk in, so tapped Ashley and she sat next to me. She mentioned she felt like she had ADD, and I mentioned it was obvious because she hadn't stopped talking since she came in, which got her to be a little quite. Than taught the teenagers because Sabra had asked me last week to teach. There was only 4 students but man were they rowdy. Got them to actually do the activity by offering them Reese's Cup if they actually answered the questions that were on the paper (asking them what was the best advice/counsel their parent's had given them and why it was the best advice/counsel they had received).
Ashely, Ray and I than headed to Tampa 3rd. I ended up getting up and giving my testimony, was nervous like always and didn't end up saying all that I wanted to. Really helped to hear some of the other testimonies though (one that touched me was Stevie P's about the hard time he had after his brother died but that it has made him stronger).
Went to part of Sunday school before talking with Eva in the hall way about some things, than it was time for Relief Society. I really didn't want to go but am glad I did, class reminded me that we don't have to live up to the world's standards but just remember God loves us for who we are, not what we look or dress like.

Today went to the gym at 11 a.m. and man oh man was it packed. Did just 4 machines before doing some sit-ups, which I did 80 in 2 minutes. That is a 100 on the APFT, so I really just need to concentrate these next 3 weeks on push-ups and running. Came home and went to Sonic and the park with Mom and Sam. At Sonic had a Strawberry Cream Pie Shake which also isn't good for me and didn't really need. Than watched the movie In Burgess which was kind of strange but I liked the heavy set man again, who saw that is partner felt sorry for what he didn't and didn't' judge him for it.

It seems that lately I have been thinking more about things, especially in the past week. And I am concerned about some of those things. I am concerned about some of my friends. Some I am concerned about because of how engrossed they are with worldly things. The priorities they have sometimes disappoint me.

I am concerned about someone else due to the person's wavering faith.

Also am concerned because two people thought it was funny that they caused drama and didn't even think that the actions they take have consequences that don't' just affect them but others.

Lastly I am concerned that some people today are just rude and users. It truly is simple to say Excuse Me, it works a lot better than just trying to push by. When someone says Excuse Me you don't just sit there, you usually try to move out of the way a little for them.

I know it is not in my place to judge, but I don't think I can actually say anything to these people I am concerned about because of the tone in my voice. I don't mean to sound the way I do, but often times when I try to talk to people it comes across harsh. Something I need to work on.

Well I am going to go now and get ready to go jogging.

02 September 2009

Mississippi, Grace Land and Mom's Birthday

I am really bad at writing but know the more and more I put writing off about what has happened the more I forget. So here I am trying to write about the last 10 days.

Back two Sundays ago (8/23/09) I headed to T3 for church than afterwards went to Amber's house. When I walked in she said I looked like I came from Little House on the Prairie because of my shirt. Hung out there until it was time to go pick up Angelina, go get the rental car than go pick up Leilani. The rental car turned out being a 2009 Dodge Avenger which was a nice car besides the fact that on each side there are HUGE blind spots. After picking up Leilani we were headed over to Dunedin to see Bobby Long when we got into a car accident. It was our fault, but luckily no one was hurt. Make sure if you get an in accident that you don't get in one where the police don't know whose jurisdiction the road actually is. We got in the accident around 8 p.m. and called it in (we hit a Judge driving a BMW), the first officer (Hillsborough Sheriff) didn't arrive until around 8:50 p.m.. He started asking us questions when another officer (Tampa PD) came up and took over and started filling out the paperwork. Finally a third officer came (Florida Highway Patrol) came and ended up being the officer to stay and do the paper work. This officer was actually nice, he ended up talking to us for about 10 minutes after the judge we hit left, unfortunately he had to give Amber a ticket. We didn't leave the scene of the accident until around 10:15 p.m.. We still headed to Dunedin to try and see Bobby Long but he had already finished playing by the time we got there. Fortunately though he came out to talk to people and Amber and I got to talk to him and get a picture. Come to find out he was going to be playing at the same place that upcoming Thursday. We headed back over to Tampa to drop Angelina off and say bye to Katie. Finished packing everything for Mississippi and headed on the road around 1:30 a.m. our time.

Amber was the first to drive and she drove until about Georgia. Than I drove, which was kind of eh because it was back roads and the speed limit kept changing. Drove until we were in Alabama. Finally, Leilani took over. We arrived in Corinth around 1:30 p.m.. We drove around and until around 5 p.m. and than went back to Ricky's. Let me tell you, they have the BEST snow cones in Corinth, with amazing ice and plenty of juice flavor. Ricky wasn't home yet so we were just sitting on the porch when we headed over Gene's. That woman is absolutely hilarious. Ricky called her so we headed over to his place where we would be staying for the next few days. For dinner we went to Ryan's and like always since it was a buffet I over ate.

On Tuesday (8/25/09) we went to Grace Land. I felt stupid because I didn't know that there was an Elvis Presley Boulevard and that Elvis' house was on that street. I really enjoyed Grace Land and getting to see Elvis' house, his resting place, his cars, his plane, his jet and the information about his time in the Army. He had this purple Cadillac which was just a beauty. We went to the mall in Memphis and Kinko's than headed back to Corinth. We got lost on the way back because of Leilani's phone application going to the wrong city. Oh well we made it back which all that counts.

Wednesday was so much fun. We drove around some more, went in the wooods and than drove the four wheeler. That was such a blast. I felt like a little kid. It was also funny to hear Leilani screaming at Amber to stop. After four wheelin we went to get some dinner and another snow cone, than said our good bye to Gene, Scott, Ricky and Marsha before we headed out. We left at 10:30 p.m.. Oh almost forgot, Leilani fell in love with Gene's dog Lo and I fell in love with Ricky's wolf Storm.

Thursday (8/27) -On our way back home Amber was the first to drive again, than Leilani and than I drove. When I was driving Leilani told me she was feeling sick and I might need to stop. About 15 minutes later she told me to stop and she ended up emptying out her stomach on the side of 1-75. Felt bad for her because she said she couldn't breathe because she had vomit stuck in her nose at one point. Lesson learned: don't eat gas station hot dogs. While driving, about two hours away from Tampa I got pulled over for not obeying the Move Over law. Fortuntaely I only got a warning. Leilani and I think it was because we looked busted from not having taking showers or brushed our teeth. We arrived back in Tampa around 10:30 a.m.. Said bye to Amber and Leilani and than headed home so that I could talk to Mom, get a shower and take a nap. Meet up with Amber, Leilani, Angelina and Katie at the Dunedin Brewery to see Bobby Long. That man is a good musician and adorable. He is British so has an accent which helps him out in the cute category. Liked him so much bought his c.d. and a t-shirt and went and said hi to him. After the concert we went and ate at Denny's. Really need to not eat when not hungry, although had a good time.

Friday (8/28/09) went to work and don't think anything really uneventful happened.

Saturday (8/29/09) went to work and it was kind of fun because the ice had been put back in while we were gone. Was setting up for Ice Fest. Got to watch some of the Tampa PD and Malone and Smitty practice. It was a really easy day which I feel bad for because I really didn't have to work that hard.

Sunday went to church and learned about the importance of Visiting Teaching. Learned about making small steps to improving.

Monday (8/31/09) went walking at 7 a.m. with Mom, had my back pack with 20 lbs of weights in it. Watched Full Metal Jacket and Duplicity with Mom. Also went to Blockbuster and bought Twilight, Slumdog Millionaire and Role Models. At night went to the gym, trying to work out a little harder for preparation for Basic Training.

Yesterday (9/1/09) was Mom's 67th birthday so made her a cake, cookies and bought some ice cream. Also watched Taking Chance with her. This movie was touching. It is about a Colonel that volunteers to escort a Private First Class from his hometown home. Went to Institute and learned about desire and record keeping. Learned that I must have the desire... desire to change, desire to do better, desire to have faith, desire to succeed. It all starts with desire. Also learned about the importance of record keeping. If it weren't for record keeping we can't learn from our own mistakes or others.

Today I tried to clean my room a little, went to Pete and Shorty's with Mom, and am now going to head to the gym. So later.

22 August 2009

First time shooting a gun...

Am writing this about an hour after getting back from Knight's Shooting Range. Went to the range with Dennis because he thought I should shoot a gun before actually heading off to Basic Training. After going to the range, would have to say I absolutely agree with his thinking. We rented a Glock 19 9mm handgun and got 2 boxes of bullets, eye and ear protection and two body silhouettes. Dennis started me out at 10 feet and did pretty okay for my first time shooting ever. Only problems were twice I started to turn to talk to him with it being a live gun which is a BIG no-no. After those two times learned that hey set the gun down, pull the magazine out and than turn around. Another thing I had a problem with was leaving the empty magazine in, and trying to shoot and aim with my left eye closed. After opening my left eye it looked like it wasn't aligned and made it seem like I was crossed eyed. I also had to concentrate on standing with one foot slightly in front of another. There was a guy that worked at the range who helped me try and not anticipate the kickback because I was pulling down at the last second. So I had to pull the trigger slowly to not get the pulling down. It was an interesting experience, and should help out when I go to Basic Training and have to shoot an M16.

Ohh forget to write this but will tell about the Green Day concert that I attended. Amber, Angelina and I all worked the Set-Up for the concert. We had to tape some things down after the chair strike so we ended up clocking out late because of it. We decided to tell our Manager so he would know and when we went in he asked if we needed tickets for the show that night. We were all like yeah. So we each got two free tickets. Ended up being Amber, Leilani, Angelina with her two sons, and I who went. We got their about 20 minutes before Green Day came out. Let me tell ya, thought the show was awesome. The lead singer, Billy Armstrong, tried and I believe succeeded in crowd participation. He had little kids, teenagers, and adults come on stage. The drummer Trey Cool was awesome too, after every song he would throw his drum sticks behind him. Than at the end of the concert he ran across the stage throwing them into the audience. Knew about 50% of their songs just from radio play. Was a little disappointed they didn't play Nice Guys Finish Last. Overall thought it was pretty wicked.

Also worked set-up for Demi Lovato (Aug. 14th) and got to see David Archuleta walking in when we were heading to the time clock. He looked so small. On Tuesday (Aug. 18th) got to see the Jonas Brother sound check which was kind of funny because they only sang two songs and answered about 4 questions. They walked right by us when we were numbering the chairs and they were headed on stage for the sound check. Don't really know what the big deal about them is, because they didn't sound good during the sound check. But I guess to each his own. That is why we are all given our own opinions.

Well am heading to the library now to pick up a book but just wanted to write about shooting a gun for the first time before I forget about it.

29 July 2009

Work

Work is more interesting when you can laugh and have fun. Yesterday (Tuesday, 28 July 2009) went to work at 8 a.m. for helping with set-up for American Idol. The night before went to Champions with Amber, Leilani and Katie. Can you say YUM!!!! Their cheese fries are soo good, but always eat too much. Didn't get to bed till 2:15 a.m., but that is okay because I was talking with Amber and laughing my butt off. At work it was awesome because it was Amber, Angelina, Debra, J and I working together all day.

Side note: Don't wear a shirt that says on it "Free Hugs to Everyone" if you really don't expect people to walk up to you and give you a hug. We were outside setting up the shoots and this girl had on a shirt that said that, and Debra and I looked at each other and laughed. She then said "I are someone to go up" and as soon and I heard that I walked up to the girl wearing the shirt and gave her a hug. Amber, Angelina and Debra got a good little kick out of that.

Later on we were told that two people would need to go to the locker rooms and find someone who worked for the tour named Rose. Debra and I ended up going and Amber dared me to ask Rose if she knew where Jack is. So Debra and I walked up to the lady and I was like are you Rose? She said yes, so I asked her, do you know where Jack is? She said she doesn't know who Jack is, they don't have a Jack. Little things like this make the day go by much faster, and not make the job as mundane.

The chair set, 1400 chairs didn't go by that fast. We had housekeeping help us for about 30 minutes. There was a few little bumps in the road, such as the fact that the chairs on the side of the stage needed to be facing another way, and are lines telling us where to put some of the rows were off by about 6 inces.

I came home and was tired due to the only 4 hours of sleep, and ended up sleeping from 7 p.m. last night to 2 a.m. this morning. Than slept from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. this morning.

So for the next two months will try to be having more fun at work.

20 July 2009

Excited!!!

Today was a very happy day! It started crazy early, had to be to the recruiting station at 5 a.m. to be to the Tampa MEPS at 6 a.m.. Had an inspect so that they could clear a code and also do a height/weight/ pregnancy test. After these tests were done headed with a recruiter and 2 guys from the Clearwater office to the Tampa Battalion for the OCS Board. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and the first interview wasn't until close to 1 p.m.. I was the fourth of nine to go in, tried not freaking myself out but was nervous as all heck as soon as I walked in. Three Officers are sitting at this big meeting table and start asking questions. Remember they asked; what school I went to, how old I am, why I want to be an Army Officer, who my role model is, if I have a problem with being a female in the Army, and what my career goals are for five years from now, where I worked during college if I worked, and why it took so long for me to get in front of the board since I graduated in December 2007. One of the guys (it was two men and one women on the board) asked how we put ice in at the St. Pete Times Forum, so tried explaining it to them. Some problems I had was not saying yes/no sir or ma'am all the time, swiviling the chair, and using my hands to talk (some reason the Italian in me decided to come out during this Board meeting.) Most embarassing of all was when leaving there were two doors, and I went to walk out and picked the wrong one. The wrong one was actually the closet door. They told me and I said "Sorry I am a bit of a goof." It was good to see that one of the Officers didn't take it too badly because on one of the comment sheets it said about me "has a good sense of humor." Was very very glad to find out that all three of them recommended me for OCS, even better is that from all three of them I got 25 out of 25 on the evaluations.

The three of us from Clearwater than headed back to the MEPS to sign our contracts. I am scheduled for a ship date for Basic Training of September 29th at Fort Jackson (South Carolina), with OCS falling at Fort Benning (Georgia) schedule for December 14th. My goofiness continued when we did our Swearing in. The Captain walked in and we were suppose to go to attention and say "good afternoon ma'am." Well I was nervous and accidentally didn't go to attention but put my right hand up at the 90 degree angle for the oath. At least the Captain laughed about it.

So here is a brief timeline...
October 2008: Went to first full physical. (Had previously went for AFOQT, and ASVAB).
Went for inspect.
Went for x-rays at MEPS Orthopedic. (Was denied ok for physical and, told
need a waiver, packet was sent for waiver.)
March 2009: Medical waiver disapproved, told would need to get a special test done.
April 2009: Have ankle weight bearing test done. Waiver re-submitted.
June 26, 2009: Receive call from Sgt. Doyle (recruiter) that waiver has been APPROVED!
Fill out packet and submit.
July 20, 2009: Go in front of OCS Board and am approved! Sign contract!!!!!!!

I have 10 weeks to get everything in order and start preparing for Basic Training.
